The SheCycle project was founded by Leah Wouda, Abby Loewen, and Anna Kuepfer; it’s an antimicrobial reusable sanitary pad that can be locally sourced and distributed in Uganda, which is a sustainable solution to menstrual health management.
After winning the 2019 World Challenge pitch competition based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), I was tasked with shooting their portraits for a University of Waterloo profile piece.
